PASSING TRAINS PT 41; DCCWCO119 PT 1

Train DCCWCO119 (D.C.-Cumberland-Wheeling-Columbus) rounds the curve into town.

Today, the train is led by ES44AC 1960, the Erie Lackawanna Heritage unit.
DCCWCO119 is the manifest that services Washington, D.C., Cumberland, Md., Wheeling, W.Va., and Columbus, Oh.
1960's companion is sister ES44AC 9485.
RBOX 40188 has a special paint scheme, in honor of breast cancer research. And yes, the real car actually has the small "hand prints" on it!
Two more boxcars -of many more to come- follow. The second one is leased from GATX by the UP -note the BKTY reporting marks.
A pair of plastic pellet hoppers. More will follow. Note that while both are owned by Pullman Leasing (PLCX reporting msrks) the lettering is placed differently on both cars: the first car has the reporting marks in the traditional location above the capacity data; the second car has the reporting marks beside the capacity data, which has been moved over to accommodate this.
More hoppers, including a Trinity 3230 cuft pressure-differential hopper loaded with cement leading the group. The other two cars are loaded with crushed glass for recycling.
A tank car loaded with solvents and a loaded carbon black hopper.
A trio of 50' FBOX cars. The first car still has the old black logo, the other two have the new red logo.
A look at the last two cars show that while similar, they are NOT the same. In addition to paint and lettering differences, 506858 has slightly different side rib spacing and smaller side ladders than sister 504634.
Next week, more of DCCWCO119.
