MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

 ET44AC 530 is pulling a short train in honor of Memorial Day...

Extra 530 has pulled into Hillsdale Yard, to drop off several wreaths and flags for local volunteers to place on the graves of local veterans.

Power car 11 provides hotel power for the dome car.

The specially painted POW/MIA dome, un-officially called "Freedom," carries a small crew of AP&W volunteers to assist in distributing the flags and wreaths to communities along the route between Cleveland and Washington, D.C.

TBOX 662066 was loaded with thousands of wreaths for the journey.

KDC 016 was loaded with flags. In addition to on-line communities, other flags and wreaths were also provided to veterans' cemeteries in northeastern Ohio, southwestern Pennsylvania, and across Maryland.

Greyhound's Tribute To Our Heroes bus leaves town headed for Philadelphia.

A pair of  60's classics -including a 67' GTO on the right- sit in front of the ice cream shop. No formal car show this year due to the weather, but the classics still show up!
