PASSING TRAINS PT42; GM407 PT1

After waiting for DBC47 to pass, train GM407 is now ready to proceed...
Led by AC4400 8900, the train moves on.
The second unit is UP 9575. an ex-Southern Pacific Dash 9. While BNSF power is normal pool equipment for this train, UP power is also seen.
AP hoppers are on the head end.
CHTT marked AP&W hoppers are also on the head end.
Canadian Pacific hoppers are next. Note the clean new car, compared to the two older cars behind it.As usual, the long train will be continued next week.

From last week...
As DBC47 rolls through, another train is waiting; GM407, the unit grain train from Chicago to Baltimore.
More J.B.Hunt boxes, including a pair of reefers.
Still more Hunt boxes!
Now, a string of FedEx Intermodal boxes.
Next after the FedEx boxes, come a number of C.R.England reefer units.

PASSING TRAINS 41; DBC47 PT1

Another one of the daily intermodal trains rolls through Hillsdale...
The train is DBC47, the Washington D.C,/Baltimore to Chicago intermodal.
As usual, the trio of America units are on the point.
The head-end is loaded with Railpool containers, with a lone Swift box in the mix.
The dramatic increase in reefer container traffic is shown here, with several Tiger Cool Express units.
Totem Ocean Trailer Express boxes, along with a HUB box and the first of many JB Hunt boxes.
More Hunt boxes, along with another TOTE unit, a Matson box and a COFC Logistics box.And more to come...
