ANOTHER OVERSIDED MOVEMENT PT2

Continued from last week...

As the train pulls into Hilldale Yard, the men on the caboose keep an eye out for potential clearance issues.

The material support for both the load and the Schnabel car are carried in both of these containers. Also, a spare pair of trucks are also on hand, if needed.

More men watch as the train pulls through the yard. Luckily, there are no tall switch stands that would need to be removed for clearance!

Norman watches as the train creeps in. Since the train can only move during daylight, it will back into the near siding for the night.

With the train parked, the brakes are set on all of the cars. The crew will spend the night at the local hotel, and will be back at it in the morning for the continuance of their journey to the Port of Baltimore!
