SUMMER EXCURSION FUN

Summer has started, and so have the excursions!
Finally lettered and numbered, engine 34 sits in Hillsdale Yard, ready to go. Notice that the engine and tender combined are still shorter than the SD80MAC behind them!
Now eastbound from Uniontown, the little train pauses, as members of the yard crew look on.
Also now lettered and numbered, the car belongs to East Coast Tours, LTD., a subsidiary of the AP&W that hosts tours (train and bus) up and down the eastern seaboard.
The local crew admires the ancient steamer as it pauses for a spell, awaiting clearance to proceed on to Frostburg, Md. A slow-order freight train caused the delay.
After receiving the "all-clear", engine 34 pumps up the smoke and heads out.
And out she goes, excursion car in tow. The final destination: Cumberland, Md.
